Leg 3: Milwaukee Brewers to defeat the Cincinnati Reds in MLB

Leg 4: Total game score of Over 184.50 points in the NBA game between the Memphis Grizzlies and Oklahoma City Thunder.

This multi will pay around the $22 mark.

It is Saturday and that means one thing: sport!

Here is a four leg multi that I am feeling very confident about:

Leg 2: Northern Pride to cover the line (-2.0 points) against Norths Devils in the Intrust Super Cup.

Leg 3: Canberra Raiders to cover the line (+5.5 points) against Penrith Panthers in the NRL.

Leg 4: Queensland Reds to cover the line (-7.0 points) against the Western Force in Super Rugby.

This multi will pay around the $25 mark.

Shumpty’s Punt: Super Rugby Round 1 multi

For something new this season I have decided to put my money where my mouth is and back my tips published on pinkrugby.com each week in the form of a multi bet.

The rules of engagement will be simple: I will back exactly the teams I have selected in the preview each well and the wager each week will be $50.  Rather an muck around with margins and the like I will simply be backing the team I select in each game to be the winner.  i will keep a rolling tally of the profit from this enterprise on this blog each week.

This week is a short round of matches with only 4 teams in play.

I have selected the Cheetahs and the Sharks to be victorious tonight and as both are short price favourites the payout will only be $1.63 but still any return is a good return.

Here is my tip for a sports multi for today’s American sport:

Leg 1: L.A. Kings to defeat the Columbus Blue Jackets in the NHL.

Leg 2: Ottawa Senators to cover the line (+1.5 goals) against the Washington Capitols in the NHL.

Leg 3: Brooklyn Nets to cover the line (-9.0 points) against the Orlando Magic in the NBA.

Leg 4: New Orleans Pelicans to cover the line (+1.5 points) against the Sacramento Kings in the NBA.

Leg 5: Oklahoma City Thunder to cover the line (-6.5 points) against the Portland Trailblazers in the NBA.

This multi should pay in the range of $17 for each dollar invested.

I am a firm believer that there is never enough sport to watch and today is one of those days which stretches that maxim both at home and abroad. Out of all of this sport I have come up with the following sports multi that I am quietly confident about.

Leg 1: Indiana Pacers to cover the line (-9.5 points) against the New York Knicks in the NBA.

Leg 2: Florian Mayer to defeat Jerzy Janowicz in the Australian Open.

Leg 3: Angelique Kerber to defeat (in two sets) Alison Riske in the Australia Open.

Leg 4: New York Rangers to defeat the Detroit Red Wings in the NHL.

Leg 5: Philadelphia Flyers to defeat the Nashville Predators in the NHL.

This multi should pay around the $15 mark and the first leg kicks off at 10am (Brisbane time).
