Shumpty’s Punt: Bet of the Day

It feels like there are wet tracks everywhere today in Australia. That will necessary limit my involvement in horse racing betting today.

That said, I have had a close look at the feature race from Randwick today, the Group 2 Warwick Stakes.

Given the track conditions I can not go past the Chris Waller trained mud lark Weary. To me this race, on a heavy track is made for this horse.

Best Bet: Sydney, Race 6, Number 8, Weary

This bet will be me only investment today.

I commented on twitter last weekend that I had lost my horse racing mojo. I don’t weather it is the sea air or whether it is because I am relaxed but I have had a look at the form guide this morning and am feeling pretty confident about these tips.

Some of these runners are short priced but I can’t find anything better than them.
