It has been a little while since I posted my best bet for the day: I have been away for a couple of days and decided to take a break from the blog. Back in action today though with a couple of tips at the races and also a late sports bet tip.

The Indiana Pacers have been in brilliant form in the NBA of late and I can’t see the Boston Celtics getting close to them today. The line is 12 points which is larger than I would ordinarily like but I think they are good enough to cover it.
Best bet: Indiana Pacers to cover the line (-12.0 points) against the Boston Celtics in the NBA.
In basketball in America today I have a hunch that the Houston Rockets will bounce back from their crushing loss yesterday against the Indiana Pacers and put a score on the Detroit Pistons. I expect them to cover the line.
Best Bet: Houston Rockets to cover the line (-2.5 points) against the Detroit Pistons in the NBA.
The Oklahoma City Thunder (19-4) are the hottest team in the NBA at the moment and travel to Denver seeking to extend their current winning streak to seven games and to win its fifteenth game of sixteen. In their last fifteen games they have scored 100 or more points in eleven of those games whilst restraining their opponents to less to than 100 points in ten of the fifteen games. The Nuggets (14-9) have won seven of their last eight games at home and have an excellent record against the Thunder having won nine of the last eleven games between the two teams.
This game, for me, comes down to the form of the stars from Oklahoma City: Durant and Westbrook. Durant leads the NBA in scoring with 28.5 points per game and Westbrook has been creating opportunities in attack with steals of which he has a team leading 40. I think they will have too much offensive power for the Nuggets and will cover the line of -3.0 points.

I have come to a decision about posting my sports multi: margin betting is killing me! So for today’s multi I am going for straight out results in a 6 leg multi.
