Racing today comes from Kyneton and Lismore. In Victoria it looks like a massive day for B Rawiller and he is piloting my best bet in the last.
Best Bet: Kyneton Race 8 Number 2 Adio

The Indiana Pacers have been in brilliant form in the NBA of late and I can’t see the Boston Celtics getting close to them today. The line is 12 points which is larger than I would ordinarily like but I think they are good enough to cover it.
Best bet: Indiana Pacers to cover the line (-12.0 points) against the Boston Celtics in the NBA.
All eyes will be on the Bendigo Race track today at 12:59pm to see the much awaited debut of Black Caviar’s sister Belle Couture. Expect her to be at similar odds to her sister in that eve so won’t be getting involved.
40 minutes before hand though I like the 3 year old filly from the Sadler yard, Sarawak. It is the best horse in the race and has D Oliver aboard and that is enough for me. Rattled home first time out at Geelong a fortnight ago and should just have too much pace here.
The only restriction I would put on here is the price you might get. If the odd dip below $2.00 (which given the quality of the others in the race they might) I would keep the money in your pocket and hold it for another race and maybe another day.
Best Bet: Bendigo Race 2 Number 10 Sarawak

The St Louis Blues travel to Ottawa to take on the Senators in the NHL today in would should be an entertaining game between two of the more enterprising teams in the league. The Blues (22-6-3) possess an offence that ranks among the best in hockey this year with 3.45 goals per game. They have scored at least two goals in all but one game this season. The Senators (13-15-6) welcome back defenseman Jared Cowen who was suspended for the last two games. They missed him on Saturday during a 5-2 loss to Los Angeles where they fell behind 3-0 in the first 12 minutes of the game.
All in all, I think the Blues will have too much scoring power for the Senators in this game and will cover the line of -1.5 goals.
Best Bet: St Louis Blues to cover the line against the Ottawa Senators in the NHL.
Odds: $3.30 (courtesy of sportingbet.com.au)

The Sunday Night Football game in the US pits the Cincinnati Bengals against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Pittsburgh. The Bengals come into this game having won three straight games by an average of 14 points per contest and possess a 9-4 record. They can lock down a finals spot with a win today and some other results falling their way. The Steelers have had a season to forget and possess a decimated offensive line that has led to talismatic quarterback Ben Roethlisberger being sacked 39 times (tied for 3rd worst record in the league).
The Bengals defence has allowed 135 plays of 10+ yards which is the fewest in the NFL whilst the Steelers have only been able to reel off 142 such plays which is the 4th worst in the league.
All of this leads me to the view that the Bengals will win this game and will cover the points spread of minus 2 points with some ease. At $1.91 the return is limited but this represents my bet of the day.
Bet: Cincinnati Bengals to cover the line (-2.0 points) against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL.
